"How am I going to win?" he asked. "I don't even know what I'm walking into!" he exclaimed. James was just reaped for the 25th Quarter Quell, and the escort said that there would be a twist. He had no idea what it was going to be, and he could be saying goodbye forever. "Don't think about that," Timber said. Timber is James' best friend. "Just think of it as any other Games that you would see." James began thinking about what Timber said. That was even worse. Any other games? What? He began bursting into tears. Timber got up from the chair, and walked over to the door and looked outside the door. No Peacekeepers were watching, it seemed that the Girl Tribute's family had made them more occupied, they were going bezerk. Timber walked back inside, and locked the door. When he turned back around, James was standing there, waiting for him. He still had tears in his eyes, but most of the actual crying had stopped. "Timber.." he said. "What is it?" he asked. "I.. I.." Timber walked over closer to James and lifted his chin with his finger. "You what?" he asked. James leaned into Timber's shoulders, and they embraced tightly. "It's okay." he said. Then they heard a knock on the door, immediately stopping what they were about to do. "Time's up," the Peacekeeper said. "I know you'll come home," Timber said and exited the room.
