Naomi's mother wanted her to run to the store to get some ingredients for dinner tonight. They probably already had them, but Mrs.Love wasn't the type of person to run around the house checking to see if they had something like onions, which they don't keep around much. Eleven was very quiet. Naomi had made it to the market, and waited patiently in line for her turn.

Clarke was at the market, his mother was making some soup, because of the cold and such, so he was all wrapped up with his homemade scarf and everything. Everyone was bustling and rushing. It seemed like they were all worried about the Reaping that was coming soon, but it would be the least of their worries. Word has it there's a huge snow storm coming, so everyone needs to get as many non-parishables as possible. Clarke couldn't help but see that Naomi, a recent Victor of 11 was standing behind him. Out of courtesy, "Would you like to get in front of me?" he asked. This was 75% being a gentleman, a lady shouldn't be in the cold for long, and 25% she was a Victor, she deserved it.

Naomi smiled at the boy. "No, I'm fine, you stay there." she said. She liked being a Victor, but she felt that people treated her different because of it. Yes, it took 22 years, and finally she won the 23rd Hunger Games, but she felt like she should be treated the same as everyone else here in Eleven, well at the moment, everyone should be treated like her. "Thank you though," she said.

Clarke nodded and smiled back at her. "I'm Clarke by the way," he said. And then he put his hand out for her to shake. He wanted to have a formal introduction. Maybe he could make friends with Naomi, just incase he was Reaped in the future, it wouldn't be all awkward and stuff when they got on the train to leave. "Okay." he stated.
